Avoiding the pitfalls of AI: how to use it effectively… without losing your intuition?

For some, artificial intelligence is fascinating. For others, it is frightening. One thing is certain: it is rapidly infiltrating our tools, our decisions, and our businesses. It promises efficiency, time savings, and accurate predictions. And often, it succeeds in delivering on its promises with flying colors! It is now an essential tool!

But behind the promise… there are also pitfalls.

The pitfalls we already know about

When we talk about the pitfalls of AI, we first think of these, which are now well documented:

  • Blind dependence on recommendations generated by statistical models
  • Algorithmic biases that reinforce historical inequalities (gender, age, origin)
  • Incomplete or poorly structured data that distorts results
  • Lack of governance, training, or a vague understanding of how the tools work
  • The difficulty in tracing the source or explaining why AI responds in a certain way

These pitfalls are real and valid. They are technical and operational, and aim to improve the accuracy of the tool and the quality and reliability of the results.

But what if the real danger lay elsewhere?

During my lecture, I chose to explore another angle: that of more subtle, less visible, but equally worrying traps. Human traps!

They are not part of an algorithm.
They creep into us, slowly, as we get used to letting tools “decide.” It is well known that the brain likes to conserve energy, and now AI is offering it this opportunity on a silver platter. Beware!

I believe that what is at stake here is enormous: the loss of our superpower, which is to remain deeply present, creative, and human at a time when, I hope you will agree, the world needs it more than ever!

The first of these pitfalls is none other than losing your inner compass.

By relying on AI to plan, decide, and optimize, we risk disconnecting from that subtle feeling, that little “something” inside us that knows, without always being able to explain it.

This is what neuroscience and the HeartMath Institute call intuitive intelligence: the ability of the heart and body to perceive what analysis cannot yet grasp.

Did you know that HeartMath demonstrated as early as 2004 that the human heart—with more than 40,000 neurons—can react to emotional stimuli even before the brain?

In other words:

Your heart perceives before your mind understands!!!

This brings us to this essential question:

What if some of your best decisions came not only from your head, but from that “inner knowledge” that we no longer dare to listen to?

Intuition: a luxury? A taboo? Something for spiritual people?

No. A necessity.

Intuition is not a mystical sixth sense. It is a form of intelligence. An ability to grasp, feel, connect… even before logic kicks in.

And if we lose access to it, we lose much more than a strategic advantage.

We are losing our discernment.
And above all, our connection to what makes us alive.

The role of leaders today

I believe that the role of a leader today is no longer simply to “follow the data.”
It is to know:

  • When to trust AI
  • when to listen to your intuition
  • and above all, how to combine the two.

“In the age of machine learning, your most valuable superpower… may be to remain deeply human.”

What you will learn at my conference:

  • The 7 invisible pitfalls to avoid in order to preserve your discernment, creativity… and leadership.

  • A simple three-question checklist that helps you identify:
    – when AI is a clear lever
    – when intuition is essential
    – and when the two combine to create value

Until then, I leave you with three questions to awaken your intuitive intelligence when making your next important decision. Ask yourself:

  • What is my body telling me about this option or decision?
  • Do I feel tension or openness when I think about it?
  • If I had no data in front of me, what would my first impression be?

We look forward to seeing you there…
